Carex lambertiana
Forest sedge
Carex lambertiana ia a sedge found in forests, scrub and swamps from Northland to Banks Peninsula, although it is less common in southern areas. The ribbed leaves are bright green, and overall it is very similar to C.dissita but it is a stronger plant growing up to 1m. Like C.dissita it can be grown in light shade or sun and prefers a moist soil.
