Coprosma kirkii is a natural hybrid is a groundcover coprosma that forms densely foliaged mats 30-50cm tall and 1.5m across. The small narrow leaves are a glossy olive green. C .kirkii is happy in either poor or good soils.
It is an excellent landscaping plant, being suitable for banks, as a wall spiller, in seaside gardens, amenity plantings and indeed any difficult area. It can be clipped to maintain a good shape. C.kirkii is propagated by cuttings.
