Libertia peregrinans

Mikoikoi, New Zealand iris

Libertia peregrinans is a sought after native perennial. Sword like leaves of brownish/green with a distinct orange colouring. Small white lily like flowers on short stems are followed by bronzy yellow seed pods. Peregrinans means roaming or travelling and refers to the plants spread by underground rhizomes.
