Olearia solandri
Coastal tree daisy
Olearia solandri is a coastal shrub found from North Cape to the upper parts of the South Island. It grows 3-4m and has stiff angular branches that are somewhat sticky and covered with a yellowish tomentum. The narrow leaves are very small, dark green above and with yellow tomentum beneath. The small flower heads occur singley along the branchlets in Autumn and have a mild fragrance.
