Silver tussock
Poa cita is a graceful drooping tussock grass with very fine fawn grey foliage, growing into a clump about 50cm tall. A common plant of scrub and grassland in coastal to subalpine areas throughout New Zealand from about Thames southward. Likes a dry sunny spot and looks best when grown in poorer soil.
